UN force for Darfur takes shape

from the International Herald Tribune:

France, Denmark and Indonesia on Wednesday offered to contribute to the United Nations-African Union Mission in Darfur, a 26,000-member force that is expected to be made up mostly of African peacekeeping soldiers, with backup from Asian troops, in the western region of Sudan.
